We use your data to process registrations, orders and payments for the provision of services in connection with our golf product range (see point 5. "Newsletter and advertising purposes").

2.1 Log files

When you log in to www.birdie-open.com, log files are stored as standard for technical reasons. These data records contain the following data: Date, time and duration of the visit, name of the page accessed, IP address, the website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL), browser type and settings, operating system. The IP address is deleted after use has ended.

In addition, we automatically record and store how often you register with us and which pages you visit. This data is stored and evaluated anonymously. We evaluate this data in anonymous form in order to further improve the functionality of the websites and make them more user-friendly.

2.2 Personal data

Personal data is information about the factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us, for example during the registration process, when opening an account or when registering for our newsletter. We use the data collected in this way to process the contract, including any warranties, our services and technical administration. In addition to your address data, personal data may also include your telephone number, your date of birth and the data required for payment processing.

2.3 Third parties

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or invoicing or if you have given your prior consent. Selling this customer information is not part of our business. The data will only be passed on to optimize our products such as tournament series and our services.

As part of the registration process, for example, the service providers we use here (such as golf clubs, tournament sponsors) receive the necessary data for organizing the service. This data includes, among other things, your e-mail address and telephone number in order to be able to agree an individual information (ASG No. or Handicap etc.) with you. 3. cookies and targeting

Cookies are text files that are stored locally on your computer's hard drive and are sent back to the web server when the website is accessed later.

3.1 Session cookies

Session cookies are only used for the duration of your usage process and are deleted upon termination of the respective usage process. These serve for example the storage of information during your visit on our web pages and for the storage of your general user behaviour.

3.2 Cross-session cookies

You can prevent cookies from being set in your browser settings. However, we would like to point out that the use of certain functions is only possible if you allow us to use cookies.

3.3 Targeting

Data is collected on the basis of cookie technology to optimise our advertising and the entire online offering. Our aim is to make our offers as attractive as possible for you and to present you products and services that correspond to your areas of interest.

3.4 Re-targeting

Our websites may use so-called re-targeting technologies. We use these technologies to make our website more interesting for you. This technique enables us to display personalised advertising on our partners' websites. We are convinced that the insertion of a personalized, interest-related advertisement is more interesting for the Internet user than advertising that has no such personal reference. The insertion of these advertising materials on the pages of our partners is based on a cookie technology and an analysis of the previous usage behaviour. This form of advertising is completely pseudonymous. No personal data is stored and no user profiles are merged with your personal data.

4.3 Google Analytics

On our web pages we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information thus generated about your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. 5. newsletter and advertising purposes

5.1 Newsletter

By agreeing to receive the newsletter, you agree to receive regular information about House of Swiss Golf AG information & promotions and products. The information can be sent by House of Swiss Golf AG, birdie-open.com, birdie-traveller.ch, swissgolfpark.ch.

Consent to the newsletter is voluntary and can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be made under Settings in your customer account and of course via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter.

5.2 Other advertising purposes

In addition, we use your data to communicate with you in the context of marketing campaigns about your registration or about certain products and services that may be of interest to you. These marketing actions are carried out as mailings either via email or by post.

Consent to receive these mailings is voluntary and can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be made under Settings in your customer account and, if necessary, via the unsubscribe link in the emails.

5.3 Sweepstakes

In the case of sweepstakes, we use your data for the purpose of notifying you of a prize and advertising our offers. You may find detailed information in our conditions of participation for the respective competition.

6th Social Plugins

Our website may use social plugins ("plugins") from social networks. With the help of these plugins you can, for example, share content or recommend products. The plugins are deactivated by default on HOSG websites and therefore do not send any data. You can activate the plugin by clicking on the respective button, for example "Connect to Facebook".

If plugins are activated, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective social network as soon as you visit a website on our website. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and integrated into the website. The plugins can be deactivated by logging out of the social network.

By integrating the plugin, the social network receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to the social network, it can assign the visit to your account. When you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Facebook "I like" button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to the social network and stored there.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by social networks as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the respective networks or websites. You will find the links below.

If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of these networks before visiting our website.

Even if you are not logged in to the social networks, data can be sent to the networks from websites with active social plug-ins. With an active plugin, a cookie with an identifier is set each time the website is called. Since your browser sends this cookie with every connection to a network server without being asked, the network could in principle create a profile of which websites the user belonging to the identification has called. And it would then also be quite possible to assign this identifier to a person again later - for example when logging on to the social network later.

6. Facebook Connect

We offer the "Facebook Connect" function, which is offered by Facebook Inc. optionally for creating your customer account and logging in to our website and applications. You can also use Facebook Connect to recommend HOSG or our offers to your Facebook friends.

If you want to use this function, you will first be forwarded to Facebook. There you will be asked to log in with your user name and password. Of course, we do not take note of your registration data. If you are already logged in to Facebook, this step will be skipped.

Facebook will then tell you what information is sent to us (public profile, list of friends, email address and current location). Confirm this with the "OK" button. With the transmitted data we create your customer account, whereby your friend list is not stored by us of course. To log in to HOSG using Facebook Login, a unique token generated by Facebook (a long string of letters and numbers) is also stored, which is exchanged during the login process for secure authentication with Facebook.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the Facebook data protection information.

7. right to information and right of revocation

Upon request, we will provide you free of charge and without giving reasons with information about your stored data, its origin and recipient. You can also change, block or delete the data that we collect and use from you via the website. You can also revoke your consent to the collection and use of your data at any time without giving reasons. In this case, please contact info@houseofswissgoof.ch or House of Swiss Golf AG, Mülistrasse 3, 8852 Altendorf, Switzerland, with any questions, suggestions or requests.
